This was my entry to the Master Class painting contest at Kubla Con this year. Sadly, he sustained some serious injuries at the Con and lost his weapon. However, like any good fighter class he gritted his teeth, dusted himself off, and pressed forward into the fray... which means due to an error on my part he was damaged at the con and needed some repainting to get posted here. As always it was amazing to see what Derek and Lazlo had to offer at Kubla Con... I continue to know my humble place in the paint world. Any feedback you might have is most welcome! Nice work! The snow on the base and the pink tones in his skin really help convey a cold feeling to this. I think if you brought your highlights up several steps but just in very small areas that he would pop a little more.
