OOP Dwarf Gyroscope

This is my first submission here. It's not my first mini, but I haven't been painting long. Maybe 20 minis under my belt. Anyway, the blue and crimson are gonna be army colors so I thought it'd be cool if the blades made concentric circles of color when they spun. So, tell me what you think and feel free to be critical as hell because I know I need improvement. Oh, also the flash on my camera takes some of the contrast out of the mini so maybe take that into account =)

I agree with KatieG; when I first looked at the pic I couldn't tell if it was painted much. Definitely turn the flash off and use other light sources. The picture is so washed out that it's hard to even see your paint job. Cheers, Grumb

I can't entirely see what going on, you should use stronger natural lighting and not flash for pictures of miniatures - its much easier to see what's going on. I can't tell if some of the shiny parts are supposed to be metallics, or are just unpainted or what...

hmm its not so easy you have`nt wrote if iis a ready piece or a work in progress, because there are a lot of parts unpainted!??( I mean the engine behind the dwarf) So the mini could get some shade black ink makes wonders sometimes. try to pay more attention to paint in the lines. have you used primer ? the paintjob at the rotorblades itself is quiet nice but need more highlighting at the edges.and last point make the left blade planar :-)
