I`ve used very thin paint. The varnish ist much to glossy, I know. You can´t see all the details because of the varnish :(
I used another one for my second miniature and that looks much better.
Not bad for a first try :)
Avoid 'glossy' effect if possible (no gloss varnish / flashlight while taking picture / and weird inks) and most importantly try thining your paints.
It's always better needing to add paint than trying to remove some ;)
