Lt. Kara Black

First things first, this mini was an absolute joy to paint - which is no less than I would expect from a Kev White sculpt, and I think this was also largely influenced by those few extra mm in scale that she has. Ramping up to about 40mm seems to allow almost a perfect mix of detail and flat surfaces, which when cast in resin really just make it shine (in my opinion). I spent ages deliberating over doing a jungle base, and even trying to make one, but in the end I went for the more straight forward option of painting the base that comes with the mini in the first place!

Agreed with you the mini is a joy and your rendition is impressive...I am not so thrilled with the base and yours is a bit "too bright" and overwhelmed the figure but still a beautiful painting job..
