Boromir from "Breaking of the Fellowship" first try at painting eyes... one eye is looking off to the right. Any suggestions on how to paint eyes?

There are lot's of different techniques for painting eyes. Like Samson, I suggest you research and find what works best for you. Here's one way: Paint the eye socket black. Come back and paint over it white leaving a thin outline of black around the eye. Then go in and dot black where you want the eye to be looking. I think eyes looking in a different direction than straight forward often make a model look more dynamic.
The black is pretty smooth, nice. As far as painting the eyes I'd suggest a 20/0 brush from reaper and scouring the internet for tutorials. Also I think a little brown grass on the base would enhance it nicely. Good work!
