Nightbringer

Diorma presents one side fight between the god of necron and and poor lost tyranid. Actually that this diorma was created to present in attractive form the Nightbringer. He was light converted – we added the cool garment. The base of the Nightbringer is not a standard one (I mean the crawling scrabs). We decided that around the necron will be a lot of scrabs (The idea was to cover half of the diorma but we had not enough scrabs ). In the background on the wall we placed manually painted fresks inspired by the cover of the necron manual. Gaunt is presented in the same position like the figurine from forge world. We also added to gaunt a bit of spit which drips from his trap so he looks less terrified as he is in the reality. Generally not every day you meet a god which comes from the ground. This should be all, I wish you nice examination. Best regards Regards www.microartstudio.com

I love the scene, nice work and ideas. The Fresk, IMO would be better with the other C'Tan, the Deceiver. In the older fluff it would project images and thoughts into the minds of its prey/enemies to confuse and beguile, even bringing out the victims fears. Poor little Tyranid.

Once again Tony, your comment is poor, a judgement based on nothing constructive... Jealous of the talent of the other so you snipe them? return play with photoshop and let the real painters do their works... it's the better you can do.

Just out of curiosity... why would anyone paint a fresk of a necron warrior? If they were a necron, they would have been turned into a metal skeleton and they wouldn't have been interested in art. If they were someone who stood against the necrons they would have been at war with them, and wouldn't want to portray them in such a positive light.
