The hilights aren't the problem, the problem is contrast. Without good shading in the crevices there is no depth to the cloak. Another little side note would be to try and make the lines on the freehand a bit thinner. It looks great but maybe a bit on the thick side.
I really appreciate any comments left for me, the cloak actually has 3 different highlight stages, but since I'm a pathetic photographer it only looks like one highlight :-)
