These guys were a commission. Color scheme as well as the amount of weathering were according to my client's wishes. Man, yellow sure as hell is a daunting color to paint. Had to leave my comfort zone of black primer and go all white. not my kinda thing really. Was sceptical at first because of the color combination, but in the end they turned out quite nice looking. :) Squad markings and the sarge's banner are freehand, OSL for the eyes and lenses was requested. So, hope you like em, and if you don't, at least let me know why or what to change. cheers, Kenza

Sorry for the double post. I meant blue for the background of the banner, since the marines are predominantly yellow.

I like them. A very nice high tabletop standard. My only crit is I don't care for the banner. Banners should catch the eye quickly, and with blue and yellow marines, a grey banner just doesn't do it. I'd suggest something more representative of the chapter icon, maybe with a background the color of the marines themselves, since the yellow is already a nice bright color. Just my thoughts.
