Ulthwe Eldar Farseer with Spear

CLICK TO ZOOM !! :) Better quality after click. This is my latest mini. It's really dark. Colour scheme fits Ulthwe army. However it can be use to other armies either, cause it doesn't have any Ulthwe icons. As you can see most of the miniature is deep black; Chaos Black. After that I used Shadow Grey -> Space Wolves Grey -> Skull White. It makes a shining black cloth effect. Hope so ;p For gems / spirit stone I used also Chaos Black as a basecoat. Other paints was Blood Red and Skull White. Between clear Blood Red and Chaos Black were several mixes of these two paints. Gold is very simple; Shining Gold as a first layer. Then using several mixes of this gold and Scorched Brown. You can also you some Chaos Black for the end. After making shadows add Skull White to Shinning Gold and make some reflections. Purple parts (tape and spear's edge) - Warlock Purple (shadows using mixes with Chaos Black and highlights using mixes with Skull White). Front of the helmet (this light part) is a Kommando Khaki (shadows using mixes with Chaos Black and highlights using mixes with Skull White). If you have any questions - feel free to ask :) All C&C welcome! Especially comments ;) I would be thankful for it.

The paint job is neat and looks effective. Could be improved with a bit of freehand work, bands / runes to add a bit more interest. 7.5 from me
