1st Captain Lysander of the Imperial Fists. A really interesting miniature to paint and my first attempt at NMM. I was hoping to achieve a slightly more muted palette than the standard GW scheme. Comments and constructive criticism would be appreciated. Commissions considered, message me for details.

Just a little update. This guy just won overall best in show at the Altrincham Games Workshop painting competition, the first competition I've ever entered! Really pleased as there were some fantastic minis on display. Thanks to everyone involved.

Thanks for the feedback, it's good to know what people thing of it. The white shoulder pad isn't actually as flat as it looks from the photo, it's got quite a subtle marble-like effect painted on, as well as a freehand imperial fists symbol. Sadly the photos I took don't show any of that, I think I'll have to work on my photography a little! Maybe I'll add some extra shading to areas like that in future to emphasise the effect. Cheers.
