Imperial Guard conversion

The originator and the idea creator this convention was our friend from UK, his proposal was to make an army on basis German Army from II World War. He presented me a model in a scale 1:72 and it was sdkfz 251 (infantry transporter)and he asked – what are you not able to do it? Presented model was actually created from basics. The plan was to create a copy sdkfz only with parts from Games Workshop. This task was not an easy one because we had to made two the same models. As you can see we did it. The models has 99% parts from GW (thanks to the magic box with parts from other models) the only thing where we had no ideas was the wheel so we used some from model 1:35, all slants and plane responds to those from real sdkfz. The whole idea of the transporter from Warhammer 40k is presented very well, all the fire weapons there where it should be, all the hatches also. The painting is also suitable to the climate of the world 40k and at the same time it corresponds faithfully to painting from II World War. I also created the base to present the models on the best way in the colection. The collection includes few converted tanks and trucks for the Imperial Guard – but this is the another story... – to be continued.
