You´re right, the figure is for playing and so the base doesn´t look very good.
To Kenaz: I think orange highlight on this figure makes the vampire to gay :-)
So I let him as he is.
i like this! beleive me g.w. does a lot worse!!! models than this! but i do see xtapl's point! he does look rather contorted!
but lets get to the paint job! a good clean job indeed!!! although for me a little more in the way of highlighting on that red flesh wouldn't have gone a miss! try a little orange in the mixture! and it'll be a deffinite 8 great work though!!!!
Great blending and color selection. This is, quite possibly, the absolute worst model GW makes. It's horrid. But even it benefits from a clean paint job. Basing leaves a lot to be desired for me, but not if it's just intended for tabletop play. I assume it's not being used as a vampire, from the round base?
