Jeanne, La Pucelle
New pics of old bust, a limited-edition resin casting from Augie Rodríguez. Painted mostly in artists' acrylics, using some Liquitex interference paint to help give the illusion of silk (works better in the flesh than in photos unfortunately). The celata was painted with automotive chrome spray paint decanted and airbrushed, then polished by hand, with weathering using enamels, alkyds and acrylics. The mud on the back of the helmet is made from Polyfilla, a bit of sifted sand and some acrylic medium or PVA glue, with acrylic paint to tint the mix, as well as over the top as a stain for the areas that are still damp.
