Pink Horror
Hi everyone, This is the latest mini I have done, buth painted and sculpted myself - a large scale GW Pink Horror. I finished the sculpting the week before the latest plastic incarnations were released, so it looks like the 'old' ones :). The model is built over a wire frame which was bulked up using more wire and string, tightly wrapped around the armature. It was then sculpted using a combination of green stuff, milliput, procreate and cork for the base. The base itself is a 60mm GW plastic base. It took about 3 months of sculpting (about an hour or so a night) and three weeks to paint. I considered painting it like a blue horror, but since they are officially called PINK horrors, I decided against it -particularly because the new ones had just been released and it didn't look anything like them! I seem to have an affliction for painting things pink (just look in my gallery and you'll see what I mean lol!) but I really enjoyed doing it and wouldn't mind doing one for each of the 4 major chaos gods.
