This summer I will be painting some minis to sell on eBay. This is my first mini painted for sale. It is a limited edition piece in the "gods" series sculpted by Sandra Garrity for Dark Ages Miniatures (not to be confused with Dark Age). It is 32mm I decided to start with something simple for my first sale so there's mostly metal. The silvers are worked from Boltgun to Mithril to VA silver. The golds are worked from Tin Bitz to VA gold. There are some white tips to emphasize the reflective nature. I'm new to static grass and not totally happy with the base. Any comments or constructive advice would be appreciated.

I adore the lovely ruby gems on the armor. Fantastic.

The eyes are wonderfully expressive and well done, but the mouth and the rest of the face seems somehow undefined. The armor looks a bit too uniform as well - I think some washes to bring a bit more depth would be good. I believe it is better than the current 6.2 score indicates, but I think it could be improved on in some areas.
