this was an experiment in painting flesh tones, in that I started with a lighter color, then added washes to create shadows. then when I was done with that, I then added highlights.

The hair and especially the gems on his belt look really good. Your skin color works good on his hands, but the rest of his exposed skin looks like he´s having an allerging reaction to ink washes ... ;) Maybe the washes are too red or something.

Love the hair. Not crazy about the skin or weapon. The cloak is good too.

Awesome, it looks like an oil painting almost. The direction and wash style of shading give it a kind of flow and momentum.
