I have to agree with Puppykicker. A good dark wash on the red should improve things a lot.
From what I can see the left shoulderpad looks good, allthough you missed a gem.
The rope in front also looks fine.
As for the gems (and I can't do this at all) the blooddrops need some more blending, the green gems on the crosses look great, so you can! While you're at it, repeat on the eyes for extra effect..
The flamer seems fine to me as well, good job.
Finally, a challenge: Add writings (or scribling) to the purityseals. This is hard, I failed miserably myself, but maybe you can.
