Sanguinary Guard Blood Angel Space Marines
5 Sanguinary Guard Blood Angel Space Marines I have been carefully not to over-do the gold armour as so many people I have seen highlight it too harshly- a simple dwarf bronze, shining gold, mithril silver/shining gold mix, followed by a wash of devlun mud is enough to let natural light do the rest. Eyes have been painted using dark angels green, with golbin green/skull white counter-highlights to give the jewelled effect. The swords and axes were a gradual build up from a chaos black/ hawk turquoise mix to a hawk turkquoise for the brightly lightning flashes. Wings have been painted with a careful liviathan purple wash over skull white, with a 50:50 mix of the two for a fareful blend. The models have been assembled almost exactly as seen on the original packaging- the same weapon configuration to make this a useful squad. These models will look equally at home on display or on the battlefield tearing into the enemy as part of your army.
