You're not the best painter? Neither am I... neither are most of the people on here ;)
You did a great job on these guys! A big pat on your back is necessary. You did the glowing eyes just right, the armor lining is exact, everything looks good. Work on bringing out highlights in the base by painting a lighter color over a darker one and you're golden.
