Another repost of a mini from my website. These are some new pics with my digital camera. It's an older mini I painted 5 or so years back, but the cool personality of the John Dennett sculpt shines through, so it's still one of my personal favorites! ;^) It's painted in the 'reverse fire' effect - I became known as the anal fire guy on mini-painter for a while because I kept insisting people paint it right ;^) Fire is hottest at the source of combustion and gets progressively darker as it cools (see the Lava Dragon in my CMON gallery). The mini was mostly drybrushing with a lot of washes to smooth out the transitions. Base is a doll house brass serving tray into which I glued railroad ballast. Take care, Laszlo
