I agree with 10 ball. try to use different shades and washes on most areas you paint, like the yellow or the blue. gives it depth.

Oh, well you need to shade the yellow with washes (GW dark skin) is a good one for yellow and bring up to near white on the extreme edges. Look at the Tutorials on cool mini there full of great advice. :-)
