My very first mini. I followed mainly the GW Guide but I did an armour wash with black ink. I haven't make any serious highlights or shading since this is my first mini. Comments are greatly appreciated.
i'm trying to hold back with the grade cause as a fellow greek myself I don't wanna create the wrong impression. :) Your work is clean and very very good for a first try. Check the tutorials here at CMON for Highlighting or Drybrushing to give the mini some depth! Welcome and Kalws Orises. :)
Good job on your first try, very nice base. Highlighting well is tricky even for experienced painters, I find the most important thing to remember is keeping the paint thinned down. Also, there are a number of excellent painting mediums that help enormously. Look for acrylic thinner or blending gel...both should come with instructions. I'm certain that with patience you will get great results!

You definetly need to use highlights, especially on such az dark mini. As far as I'm concerned, I prefer when you avoid to mix too many colors on a mini and that's a good point for your but here, as you didn't use any highlights either, it seems to be in one color. So I think you should also make one or two little details in a slightly different tone. For exemple, the red pants are a good thing but it still too dark. Maybe you should try to get one element which you can find in your whole army, it could give common points to it and make your minis lighter.
