Mega Man and Roll - Capcom

It's only Rock 'n Roll (But I Like It). That's the full title! Whoa? Video Game sculptures on Cool Mini or Not? Oh yeah! Now I know this isn't Golden Daemon material when it comes to painting! First, I wanted to keep the 8-bit feel somewhat, and second,I was busting my back to complete the deadline (which was pushed forwards later, damn it) But yeah, that said, hope you dig. Sculpted from Super Sculpey, firm and soft, then baked and painted with Games Workshop acrylics. I really love the more realistic, hard boiled and dystopian version of Mega man that one can see, if one wishes to, in the original games. He's become more of a lousy anime-dude of late (don't even mention powered up people) and I don't support that at all :P So here he is, (hopefully) badass with his mega buster loaded, burning power cores and full of battle damage! Guess you could sat this piece is Protomen inspired, even though it's the 8-bit Mega Man which i don't tend to use when doing Proto-fanart. Then I did Roll as well! I just had to, she's wielding two wicked wrenches! (notice the brand?) She was way harder than mega man, in every way, but she turned out ok didn't she? The base is nothing fancy, plasticard and cardboard on a wooden base, the markings says "Dr. W" btw. When I was starting to complete the piece, I did the met/hardhat dude as a bonus, as well as the telly, I really like how they turned out, maybe I'll post some detail shots later. Might post some wips/process pics aswell!
