The base stone is a stone, but paint for it looks like a really stone. ;-P.
Even if the pic is quiet blurred, your nmm still looks excellent. At first, I even thought is was real metal on the sword.
I assume the squeleton look of the face is mostly because of the pic.
Maybe you should try to hide the writing on thebase, really ugly on such a paint!
Is it a real stone on the base?
