Swordmasters with lord Makella

Better pic of my swordmasters, unfortunately despite some kind comments, closeup is not quite possible at the time with camera I have now, macro is not good enough and pics tend to go blurry. As for the colour scheme, I grew quite tired with GW dictated colours for High Elves (shiny, white) and Druchii (purple, dark), so I decided to do something different, mix if you will – after all, elves are magical beings, mystic, as well as stern and somber, so I don't think that gray and purple should be reserved only for druchii, or out of place for High Elves, especially for elite swordmasters.

Thanks for your comment. As for the bases, I imagined them standing on some shore preparing to repell an invasion or awaiting someone's arrival. I initially started with the swordmaster with rune painted cloak (big base), then decided it would be nice to have a cadre of them, and yes, for display. Seems to me it would be quite an effort making 30 cloaks, but hey, why not – with slightly wider base (because of grip), they could stand «on the battlefield».

Yep, I'm a fan. Judging by the bases (and paintjob quality) these are for display, do you think the capes would stand up to tabletop play? I ask because I now need to make 30 of them.
