Night goblins

So... after several weeks of practice I finally managed to produce some decent minis - actually I'm very happy with the result. A LOT of time was spent on smoothing the blends and glazing. Thanks again to Bohun for photos and extremely helpful advice and to my fiancee for continous support ;)

I agree both are they're greatly painted but can see where Matt is implementing how to use colors to harmonize IOW if the lighter colors both the green and the red had a bit of that blue in their shading the whole figure would be more subtle and natural -more eye catching due to its harmony - if you will! Great stuff though!

Very nice! I like the Moon Std. Bearer the best.

These are underated imo. Bases are simple, true, but the minis themselves are superb. Harmony is all nice and dandy sometimes, but there's also personal style, contrast and colour theory to consider. Too many "great" pieces seem like they are painted with different shades of the same base colour, these are not and they're great for it. The Luis Royo effect isnt alway the way to go. You've made some simple minis look really complex. Very nice work!!:)
