Tomb Kings Necrosphinx

I took some new pictures (daylight) so colours are better reproduced by the photo. I also took pictures from different angles of view... The new Khemri sphinx. I wanted to create an old, weathered sandstone sculpture where you see the thousands of year erosion by wind and sand. Not just another "highly-polished-out-of-the-factory sphinx" like this in the new GW-army book but a (hopefully) more realistic interpretation of the theme. Hope you like it.

Best Tomb King model I've ever seen! Its marvelous, highly better than GW-style TK. Weathering, dirt, climate, dark ancient atmosphere... 10!

Thank you for your comment. As I wrote below, the "technique" is just a combination of dry brushing and washes. And some fine details with a detail brush of course :-)

Awesome Khemri Sphinx! Would you mind sharing your step by step techniques along with the paint colors you used because I'd like to paint my Khemri Sphinx in the same manner. Mind you this is my very first Warhammer Army so any help you can offer would greatly be appreciated! Thank you in advance!
