My first Dreadnought

My first Dreadnought. I'm new to painting and have been inspired by Les at Awesome Paint Job to give painting a go. Granted its not very imaginative having just copied the box but i thought it best to learn to walk before i run so to speak. Any thoughts on my first effort?

That's very good for your first time. A little more contrast (darker shadows, brighter highlights) would make it pop more, but it takes some practice be able to do that without looking cartoon-y.
