Tyranid Prime / Alpha Warrior
As far as I am better at converting than at painting I post my Alpha right before getting painted. Since an Alpha Warrior is a warrior with better stats, I wanted mine to look as such: Just a Warror, but harder, better, stronger :) So he should be a little bigger with some additional details. The main work were the head and the area around it. I wanted to add an additional "step" of carapace, which I made of bits and quite some green stuff. Too make the head bigger, I just merged two together. To make him even bigger, I stretched legs and torso just a little bit with greenstuff. I felt the normal warrior arms are too small for an alpha, so I used the ones from the monstrous creature set for the primary arm pair. Sword and whip are from Paulson Games, USA. Great Stuff! It took my about 5 hours to get that far, but I am really slow. This is my 3rd green stuff work. Before this I only made some cloaks for my Eldar Jetbike-Council and two Tervigons, which I might post when I finished the painting that I already begun.
