Had a hard time with the colours for him - I figured brown and black would be predominant, but differentiating those with his fancy waistcoast seemed to work.
Thanks for your valuable criticism Krommeldar! I didn't consider him 'fantasy' at first, but I've put him in that category now, as it's more true than 'Historical'. I'm going to implement your ideas for the base, and take better pictures later today.

It is above tabletop for sure but the mini itself lacks details .
Not sure the basing helps a lot either .
Bit of wash and either a dark brown or black for the rim.
