=I= Brother Artemus

Okay folks, Here is my version of the =I= Brother Artemus painted up to be a member of the Dark Angels Chapter. I spent a fair amount of time working on blending and Grey NMM on this guy. I know there's are those who disagree with Metalics and NMM used on the same piece, but I really like how this guy turned out. Between the Grey NMM and the Red for the weapon I think there is close to 10 hours and about 50 layers of paint for the blending. The armor is a mix of DA Green and Chaos Black then blended through the green color scheme up to pure Skull White. Unfortunately during my blending process I used a bit too much Black Ink to merge the layers and Green ended up being a little darker than orignally anticipated. I also started working on really making the armor look more worn with taking Mithril Silver and slapping it on in various locations. Over all I'm pretty happy with the piece. The size of this guy really made highlighting easy. Comments, recommendations, criticisms?

Templartau - Thanks for comment. That spot on the right knee pad is the mithril silver. Not sure if it is my camera or my camera technique but silver and white seem to blend a little too well in my pics.

I love it, its a wonderful paint job on a great mini. The NMM is top notch, and I love the red on the gun. The only problem i see is the right knee pad, his right, our left. Well im not sure, is tht white stuff the mithril silver or is that highlighting? Because if it is highlighting then it really need to be blended more. Overall Great job!
