This was my first attempt at nmm so your advice is very welcome! I do have to work on my basing to add more of a feel to the overall piece. Thanks for the comment!
Welcome, and keep on posting! OK, now for the figure: Some decent NMM here but bump it up! Less understated, more shiny! I love the face (good character). Your freehand is pretty tidy too. A few other things... I'm not sure about that white armour but it might be a style thing. It just looks dirty. Also that green stuff on the base is not so good, it looks like a putting green which is an odd place to find a warrior! Overall, I'd give it 6-6.5 :)
