A great start "looks better that most of my earlier minis" It took me almost two years before I was satisfied with anything that I painted. I would clean up around the panels with a pin wash of Delven mud and paint the sand in a dirt brown or red. I would also stay away from using black on the bases because, it seems too stark and draws the eye to it. I use tera cotta on my bases. Overall "great work".
