The runes are laser-cut in a thin plexiglas sheet, and then glued onto the standard GW base. Then, a 1mm wider disc of the same plexiglas above and beyond and it's ready for basing :)
I love that idea for the base. Is it sculpted or did you find tiny runes somewhere and glue them on? The painting is reminiscent of the 13th Company too, I like it a lot. Seems a shame that such a wolfy group has the generic Chaplain in terminator armor model with them though- doesn't detract any, just an observation.
