Misan of Alahan

First of all, thanks to everyone who commented on my other minis. Now, Misan's the first Confrontation mini I bought and painted. Back then I decided to take him because his 'straight from Discworld' look was, and still is, so charming. Love at first sight so to speak. My goal was to paint him very much differently from everything I had seen until then. A kind of pale-fleshed dungeon bookworm who'd shunned daylight all his life in favour of studying. :) The detail on this figure was amazing, quite a step from GW snotlings to Rackham's finest. They won't sue me for saying that, will they? Please don't. Whatever, I like the way he turned out, although that instrument thingy on the bookmark doesn't look like NMM at all... *shrug*

I think this is a fantastic version of this mini. I actually like the smoke. I also like the dickie thing hanging down from his neck. Of special note to me is the leaves. Very realistic, you even curled them. Nice touch. Your style is smooth and beautiful.

Lovely work! Love the colour selections, and the detail work is amazing. The peachy magic smoke from the bottle is a neat effect and nice complement to the greens. Base is simple, but interesting, and works well with the figure.
