I think you should have kept the pale skin tone to contrast with the black. But then, the black behind the mesh works great too. Love the mesh btw, it turns the original outfit from slutty into sexy I think. The colours are great, the black smokey tendrils, very interesting. The marble effect on the weapon is superb. Eyes are also very well done. Those three things show a lot skill and effort. It is an anime figure, and you scored the anime style perfectly.
Most of the highlights appear to be reflections of light from the glossy paint. While it looks great, I can't rate a 9 or 10 on the work that the light is doing on an otherwise just a (very) neat paintjob. Referring to the highlights here.
