BFG Blackstone Fortress
I consider this a better failure. Mostly at fault here was that I thought I had already cleaned the model and found out after I'd primed it that I hadn't cleaned off most of the mold lines. On top of that I didn't really thing through the relationship between the bone and gold very well which ended up with too little contrast and my fix to make it more of the redish metal on the underside was quickly applied since I was frustrated with myself. UPDATE: Since posting the original image I've gone back in and tweaked the color balance as well as fixing some of the issues with the gold and the capstone gems. I think it could still use more contrast in the bone but overall the changes have improved the model.
