I tried to go for a cartoony look which I thought would work with this mini. My static grass kind of looks like a bad hair day, but I'm working on it. Let me know what you think.
I really like the cartoony look you've gone with for this guy, except I think the traditional metallics you are using don't fit in with the rest of the mini. A cartoonish style NMM would have gone better with the rest of the mini I think, as it is, the metallics look rather flat compared to the rest of it...
