well a few things that jump out. you need to highlight the mini more. for the red i would take just straight blood red and start building it up until it looks even and bright. leave the dark colour in the cracks but build up the red everywhere else. the helmet looks like straight shining gold. try highlighting it with burnished gold and then mithril silver on the extreme edges. the feathers i would probably repaint. paint it whatever colour you want them to be and then when applying your devlan mud or whatever, be very careful to only get it in the cracks. hope this helps.
