It was sculpted by Geoff Valley. He also sculpted a manticore for Reaper, and they are very similar in style and could easily by used side by side. But his old Ral Partha sculpt (which you can occasionally still find on Ebay) is the more elegant and dynamic of the two, and, being long out of print, it is far pricier .
