The Immortal Soldier

This is my current pride and joy! I love this model! I only wish I could have bought more! It is currently surving as my Inquisitor Lord with a Force Weapon. The only (slight) modificationis that the sword is originally in a sheath, and only a tiny portion is exposed as she is pulling it out...well, I wanted to show it off a tad, so I filed the sheath away and made it look like it was all sword. Other than that, green stuff base and a decent paintjob. One of my favorites! Thanks for looking! -Squig

Thanks for the advice! I actually have been looking into a light booth, some extra lighting and a better camera. This isn't the first time I am disappointed that you fine folk cannot see the true representation of the miniature as well as I would like. I want to clarify, I wasn't trying to sound like an a** about the scores, just curiosity. I have to wonder if people are either lazy or blind, as I can generally see through poor photos and attempt to judge the model itself, but I am getting off topic. I just like sharing my models with everyone and it is a shame the only medium I have at the moment is a camera phone. Hopefully soon I can put these bad photos to rest!

I think the ratings are low because your pictures are mostly grainy so it's hard to see the quality of your painting skills ... get a better camera perhaps?

Thanks Andran! Yeah, she isn't...she is a CMoN miniature, one of the few I actually liked, and I ended up getting her a long time ago when she was first released. So right off the bat she isn't a GW model, and doesn't have the 'Inquisitor' look to her...but that is what I found most appealing as using her, I am a huge SM fan (and a closet Tau player) but with GW it is hard to use non GW models, and I am not a fan of proxy-ing everything, I like WYSIWYG and I like the GW models, but the Inquisitor and Retinue gave me a unique opportunity to branch out and use non GW models as proxies without causing too much confusion amongst my fellow gamers. And with the fluff and unique qualities of the Inquisitors, they really can wear anything, use anything, look like anything... but I agree with your comment :) Thanks for the kind words! I am amazed my models have gotten like 5.5, 4.8... kinda figured they were decently painted but oh well :P
