It may not have a flashy 3" diameter base, but I'm a big stickler for creatures being painted as they should look, and this fits the bill perfectly. More than the other Basilisks I've seen so far, this actually looks like a part-time denizen of the Elemental Plane of Earth and the haunting glow to the eyes is the kind of thing to inspire respect in any player. Two thumbs up!
