the pictures were taking in my back yard witha digital camera... the red surface is a brick patio umm... the bright sunlight does take away from the skin tones a bit but overall looks pretty good.

That's amazingly done. I can't see how anyone can give this a rating lower than 7. Only suggestion is maybe you should add a pupil, and the feathers in the crest look a little flat.
I'm grateful to finally see a pic of the shaman from all angles so I can actually tell what certain things are.
