Kirai Ankoku

One of my more recent paint jobs. Since this model I've started use a paint on matte varnish as I got tired of ending up with a grainier texture after I was done. The base itself was made using brass rods to simulate the bamboo. I may have overdone the blood a bit.

I think you deserve much merit for the blood, the presentation, and the feeling. Mini painting is more than perfect finish. To prevent graining use a high quality paint and dilute it substantially, a drop of soap also prevents tide marks with dilution, I use an acrylic thinner by Lascaux, it's meant for spraying but works great.
