Red Scorpions Terminator Captain

This miniature is the first character I have painted for my new Red Scorpions force. I am not one for named characters and decided not to Culln from Forgeworld but to make my own up. He is made from one of the Space Hulk Terminators, the right arm is taken from another one and the cloak comes from the Space Wolf Terminator frame. The base is made up of scuplted plasticard with some sand and grass tufts. I also wanted to practise my freehand so decided to paint the cloak with a scorpion symbol...not sure how well it came out but I am just about happy with it. Trouble is don't plan enough and painted from memory instead of finding a picture as reference. Any way I would appreciate any comments.

Love this mini...nice freehand...though a bit rough in places... Overall feel and conversion is great and paint work is almost immaculate.

Very appealing and original model, great use of kits. Neatening the freehands and sharpening the white would add another point and a half. Redscorps have a great colour scheme, understated but interesting. Good job!
