Nemain Swordmaiden (Suli Keir - Half Sea Elf)

I painted her up to represent one of my favorite characters. I also choose the piece so I could experiment with non-human skin tones. This was the first time I tried to put water on a base (used woodland scenics). I tried to do the highlights so she would appear to be looking towards the sun and I wanted it to be pretty extreme. Her hair was supposed to be silver, but somehow it turned out metallic purple and I decided to stick with it 'cause it was fun. It's a pity the gems on her belt didn't turn out very well in the picture--I am pretty proud of them, for a first attempt. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

I just wanted to make a comment about how important good pics are - I would give the top mini an 8 and the bottom one probably a 6 if they were separate. It could be just me, but she looks great in the top photo and the bottom photo isn't very flattering... awesome technial work also!

Unusual scheme of colour, but i like it a lot. The skin tone looks as she were a water nymph or so one. The base is very nice. Très beau boulot :-)
