Ultramarine Squad

My first set (the Starter Set) I assembled/painted. The bases are plain right now, but I'm planning on adding terrain later.

Edit: Comments and suggestions are appreciated. I don't have a group of friends I do this sort of stuff with, so I'm hoping I can get feedback from this site instead.

These are really good for your first set. My main advice would be to thin your paints. You can use water for starters, and eventually look into thinning agents and additives. It may sound like a pain, but brushing on multiple layers of thin paint will give your models a nice smooth look. The first layer or two may look blotchy, but it evens out by the final layer.

Looking good so far, maybe some highlights and shading could make them better. I would recommend investing in some citadel washes, they'll make shading a breeze. As for highlights, you'd need to either buy or mix up a brighter shade of the blue, then carefully paint the edges of the armor where light would hit, like the top of the backpack, helmet, the hands, and the tops of the knees.
