Sharbat Gula, the Afghan Girl.

Busto de escala 1/9 modelado por Romain Van den Bogaert hace unos aÃ±os. Me gustÃ³ desde la primera vez que vi su modelado....y supe que acabarÃa pintando uno. Por fin este aÃ±o conseguÃ mi copia y aquÃ estÃ¡ mi versiÃ³n acabada. Como ya habrÃ©is supuesto, tanto el modelado como la pintura estÃ¡n basadas en la famosa portada de National Geographic de 1985. Yo solo he intentado captar la magia de la mirada de esa chica Afgana, aunque sea en una minima parte. I liked it since first time that I saw his sculpture work .... and I knew I would end up painting one for me. Finally this year I obtained my copy and here is my finished version. Since already you will have supposed, both, sculpture and painting, are based on National Geographic's 1985 famous cover. I have only tried to catch the magic look of this Afghan girl, though only this be in a small part (sorry for my bad english).
