Vampire Counts Mannfred Von Carstein by Nazroth

This piece was inspired by Countess Isabella the day her pictures showed in the web. I was so fascinated in her stile that i used up three Imperial Battle Wizards taking their scythes and delicately removing little 'roses' to integrate them with Mannfred. My work took about 6 hours in which i've prepared, converted, undercoated and in the end painted this miniature. I was so inspired and concentrated on my work that i hadn't ate or drank anything - i've painted as if i was hipnotized. This model remarkably exceeds my whole army painting level, so i'm very proud of it. I hope you like it too. I paint comissions. Thanks for comments. About the light: one of my friends showed me how to do it and this effect is far greater than i thought it would.

That is really sweet! I love it when I paint a mini beyond my own standards, so I understand your pride- and it's well justified. I especially like the conversion work and the source lighting- those eyes freak me out!
