My first go at transparent cloth, still have some work to do there but at least you can see what effect I was after. Ditto for the angled crystal at the top of the staff. Have more plans for the base but for now this will do till I get the materials. Just a piece for some relaxing painting. She is to be used in D&D games.

Great job on the Drow Skin. I find it hard to get it right, but you did a great job. Overall, a very nice piece. :)

Thanks precinctomega. The base is yet a wip at the moment. I want to spider web it so I'm waiting for supplies to arrive. I'm staying away from vegetation (expect mushrooms maybe) cause I want to place her in the Underdark.

The flesh and eyes are just perfect, and you've done a great job on the cloth, but I think the deeper shading needs to be deeper. Even transparent material gets very dark in the deepest folds. Also, the base looks unfinished. A little detail - some grass or moss, a toad or insect, anything, really - and a bit more paint would really compliment the mini and make this an 8..
